Should you choose to stay at a serviced location with on-site amenities, the available on-site facilities are usually included in your monthly rental:
Swimming Pools
Some locations have spectacular outdoor pools (not heated in the winter). Others also have an indoor heated pool. As an alternative, we are happy to recommend the closest municipal facility. Typically modern and where membership is inexpensive.
Gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi:
Several serviced locations have fully equipped gyms and also free access to sauna, Jacuzzi, or Turkish bath.
Landscaped gardens:
Just as important as being active, the carefully maintained gardens in many locations offer moments of tranquillity and places of rest and introspection.
Reception
Often acting as a point of contact with residents and clients. Reception staff at these locations can assist with any on-site requirements and often provide local information. Usually also manned for longer in the summer. Reception staff also provide an element of comfort that someone will be available to assist in case of need. Further, for longer stays, some locations are able to provide additional services such as receiving mail.
On-site restaurant
Although many of these preferred locations are situated close to a range of amenities, some also have the benefit of an on-site restaurant. This is also useful for those who do not wish to walk far for a meal, for a break from cooking or to invite friends and guests for a meal or drink.
On-site care
A limited number of locations have on-site care or easy access to domiciliary care.
